On November 29th, China's application for "Traditional Chinese Tea Making Techniques and Related Customs" was approved at the 17th regular session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO held in Rabat, Morocco, and was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Among them, Zhao Liqiao's brick tea making skills were successfully selected along with 42 "Chinese traditional tea making skills and related customs" nationwide.

Guided by the Propaganda Department of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Hubei Provincial Committee, and hosted by Hubei Radio and Television Station, Hubei International Cultural Exchange Center, Wuhan International Cultural Exchange Center, and Hubei Voice, the "World Comes Because of You - Foreign Media Journalists' Hubei Tour" warmly kicked off on the evening of the 11th on the banks of the Yangtze River, marking the beginning of a 5-day "Foreign Media Watching Hubei" event. At 4:51 am on January 18th, the 85552 freight train carrying 60000 pounds of Enshi green tea slowly departed from Enshi Station on the Yiwan Railway, and will then transfer to the China Europe train to travel abroad to Central Asia. This is the first time Enshi green tea has taken the train for export.

From December 18 to 20, the 2021 "the Belt and Road" Chibi Green Brick Tea Industry Development Conference was held in Hubei Chibi Yangloudong Wanli Tea Ceremony Culture Expo Center.

The 18th China ASEAN Expo and China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened in Nanning today, with the theme of "Sharing New Land Sea Channels and Opportunities, Building a China ASEAN Community with a Shared Future". On March 16th, the promotion of Chinese tea culture in Australia and the research on tea consumption markets in Australia, Europe, and America were officially launched. This event is initiated by the Australian Tea Association and implemented by Monash University's "New Tea Fields" discipline.
